I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a distinction in Civic Design (Planning) in 2007.

I have 17 years experience working in the Development Management team as Planning Officer at West Lancashire Borough Council, where I was able to gain a wide range of knowledge in all aspects of the planning system including residential, retail, commercial and agricultural development.

My role includes the preparation of planning applications and submissions to Local Planning Authorities involving public consultation, negotiation with public bodies and statutory consultees. I specialise and enjoy dealing with development in the Green Belt and rural based planning projects.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling with my family and I have recently found a love for holidaying in the UK where my sons passion for animals always seems to take us to the nearest local farm!

Office Manager

I came to Tarleton nearly 30 years ago and married a local HGV driver. I do feel privileged to live in such a lovely area.

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration whilst working as a Divisional Manager in the NHS in Bolton and Liverpool.

I was lucky to take a career break whilst I had my daughter and son then in a career change, I became a Business Tutor and Assessor for Apprenticeships at Southport College where I worked for 13 years.

I was able to indulge my passion for Training and Development and travelled to employers across the Northwest.

My role in this business is to support the team and make sure that the office can run smoothly and provide the best service possible to our customers.

Our work teams days are the best from Junkyard Golf, nice meal, and rough pubs in Liverpool to a climb up the Old Man of Coniston.

Outside of work I enjoy long country walks often followed by a large glass of brandy. I enjoy meals out with friends in local restaurants and think it’s important to support other local businesses.
